6.4.2.8. Adverbs of frequency

Adverbs of frequency in LSC maybe be placed in different positions in the sentence, as shown in the examples below.

 

a)    ix1 always live ix santa_coloma.

โ€˜I've always lived in Santa Coloma.โ€™

b)    ix3 come always++ late++.

โ€˜She always arrives late.โ€™

 

c)    date thursday seminar fixed.

โ€˜Seminar sessions are always held on Thursdays.โ€™

 

Negative adverbs expressing frequency are usually placed at the end of the sentence after the verb, as illustrated below.

 

 

 

 

a)    iron never.

b)    spain zone rain nothing.
