2.3.1.5. Order of arguments of ditransitive verbs

LIS ditransitive verbs (SYNTAX 2.1.1.1) select for three arguments. They are syntactically realized as subject, direct object and indirect object respectively.

Ditransitive predicates in LIS are: agreement verbs with two points of articulation in the neutral space, like donate (a) and agreement verbs whose starting point is on the signerโ€™s body, like say (b).
