Anaphoric pronouns are linguistic elements which express co-reference with a previously mentioned item. However, co-referentiality can also be expressed by means of verbal agreement (PRAGMATICS2.2.1), classifiers handshapes (PRAGMATICS 2.2.2), and buoys (PRAGMATICS 2.2.3).
