4.1.5. Focus doublings

Doubling is another common way to mark focus and place emphasis on an expression. Similarly to emphatic focus (PRAGMATICS4.1.4), focus doubling generally concerns morphologically simple elements or syntactic heads (modals, verbs, tense signs, negative signs, quantifiers, nouns, wh- elements).
