The notion of imperfective aspect implies that an event or activity is not completed, that is, either ongoing, repeated, or habitual, generally irrespective of the event time (past, present, future). Thus imperfective aspect can be further divided into different subtypes: habitual aspect, continuative/durative aspect and conative aspect. This section deals with the morpho-phonological verbal markings that indicate that an event is imperfective and the differences among the subtypes listed before.
