2.3.3.3. Specific order for topicalized elements

Topics [PRAGMATICS 4.2] are placed at the beginning of the sentence in LSC, as illustrated in the example below.

In this example, the basic word order SOV is changed: the direct object is placed at the beginning of the sentence, giving rise to an OSV order. Moreover, the topicalized element receives a specific non-manual marking [PRAGMATICS 4.3.2].
