2.1.1.4. Meteorological predicates
In LIS, meteorological predicates like rain (a) and snow (b) do not select for any overt argument, as shown in the examples below.
a. today rain
‘Today it rains.’
b. tomorrow snow
‘Tomorrow it will snow.’
