3.4.2. Predicative adjectives
Some adjectives may be used also predicatively. In LSC the same adjectives may be used either as attributive or as predicative. In some contexts distinguishing between the two uses (attributive and predicative) is not a straightforward task since there is not an explicit copula. However, in some examples there is a pause between the subject and the predicate, and specific non-manuals: raised eyebrows in the subject and, sometimes, a head nod in the predicate.
