3.4.1. Types of relative clause

Relative clauses in LSC are internally-headed. This means that the head noun is inside the relative clause.

yesterday man come ix₁ friend.

‘The man that came yesterday is my friend.’

The head noun may also precede the temporal adverb without affecting the meaning of the sentence.

man yesterday come ix₁ friend.

‘The man that came yesterday is my friend.’
